Who are we?

Neurobland came about because I like to wear t-shirts that show who I am. But since I could only find ones with big prints on the front, I had to make my own. That's where the fun of coming up with the sayings started! People's reactions were so great that I wanted to give everyone else the chance to have that too.

Since I was diagnosed late, it helped me finally understand myself, and it made everything before that point make sense. I love my diagnosis and I’m proud to show it. Plus, having it out there lets people know without me constantly having to explain. Now we have Neurobland.

I am

Jess

I started Neurobland. I manage Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Selective Mutism.

Because of the Dyslexia and ADHD, I pretty much guarantee you'll find a spelling mistake somewhere.

I love doing this, but the hardest part is the writing and not getting stuck on one thing too long so other things get left.

This is

Ty helps me with the technical stuff I can't do.

Ty has Autism, ADHD, and sensory processing disorder.

Sometimes Ty struggles to keep focused, as he gets distracted by the cat.

And we have

Warren

(He's neurotypical. We have to be inclusive.)

This is Warren, he helps me by being the person I bounce ideas off, and sometimes by body doubling while I work.

Finally there is

Goose

aka. Goo

She thinks she is the real boss!

She likes to 'help' Ty, I'm sure she thinks it's her job to make sure he doesn't get too focused.

She loves laying on anyone's lap, or their nice warm laptop.
